This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of a designated market and onboard new camp operators into the US Sports Camps network across various sports.
• Promote camp services and the platform to college programs, independent operators, coaches, clubs, leagues, schools, and facility operators.
• Analyze the territory, pinpoint opportunities, research competitors, and prioritize potential accounts.
• Generate an outbound pipeline through structured email and phone outreach, social media engagement, conferences, events, campus visits, and face-to-face meetings.
• Conduct discovery to gain insights into coaches' seasons, facility limitations, compensation expectations, and success metrics.
• Maintain pipeline coverage, negotiate, and finalize director agreements.
• Transition new camps smoothly to the Camp Management Team while remaining engaged during the initial camp season.
• Ensure CRM records are accurate and forecasts are made thoughtfully.
• Provide market insights to guide product and service enhancements.
• Adapt focus seasonally from autumn/winter sales to on-the-ground summer camp support, family engagement, and preparations for the upcoming year.
• 3–6 years of experience in outbound, new-business sales with a proven record of meeting quotas.
• Proven success in establishing a market from scratch, such as a new territory, segment, or vertical.
• Demonstrated methodology for mapping a market, evaluating and ranking accounts, deprioritizing, and organizing outreach efforts.
• Full-cycle sales proficiency, including prospecting, meetings, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Strong CRM discipline; experience with HubSpot is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to operators' campuses and camps during the season.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Collegiate or professional athletic experience or a coaching background is preferred but not mandatory.
• A genuine passion for sports and youth development.
• Experience in selling a service or platform within a fragmented, relationship-driven market.
• Background in youth sports, athletics, events, or operating within a two-sided marketplace business.
