This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Sales & Business Development
• Identify, target, and secure new clients in the banking and financial services sectors
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet sales and revenue goals
• Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure
• Establish robust pipelines through networking, referrals, and industry involvement
• Provide customized product demonstrations and solution presentations
• Account Management & Growth
• Serve as the main point of contact for designated banking clients
• Cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in New Zealand and selected Pacific Islands
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
• Conduct regular account evaluations and strategic planning sessions
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Client Success & Delivery Alignment
• Collaborate with implementation and support teams to facilitate smooth onboarding
• Monitor client usage and outcomes to ensure value realization
• Proactively address client issues and coordinate resolutions
• Advocate for client needs internally to shape product development and service delivery
• Market & Industry Engagement
• Maintain a thorough understanding of trends in the banking sector, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Provide market insights to guide product and go-to-market strategies
• Proven experience in B2B technology sales, preferably in banking or financial services
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and trends in digital transformation
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise-level accounts
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to convert technical solutions into business value
• Self-driven with a solid track record of achieving or surpassing targets
• Proficiency in sales management tools such as Sales Force
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in selling SaaS, fintech, or enterprise technology solutions, particularly in the ATM, Digital Banking, and Payments sectors, is highly regarded.
