This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local and state public safety agencies within the designated territory.
• Act as a trusted consultant by comprehending operational challenges and proposing customized communication technology solutions.
• Identify new business prospects and enhance existing customer relationships.
• Oversee the complete sales process from initial contact and opportunity development to closing deals and ongoing account management.
• Work collaboratively across the organization to provide outstanding customer experiences and promote long-term customer loyalty.
• Create and implement territory strategies aimed at driving revenue growth and aligning with business goals.
• Follow up on leads and customer opportunities to optimize engagement and business expansion.
• Stay updated on industry trends, upcoming technologies, and competitor offerings.
• Elevate MCA’s status as a trusted communications partner for public safety agencies.
• Regularly travel within the assigned territory to meet clients, participate in events, and cultivate or sustain customer relationships.
• This position has no direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree and over 3 years of sales or public safety experience preferred, OR more than 5 years of direct sales or public safety experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in public safety, acquired through direct service (e.g., police, fire, EMS) or sales roles focused on public safety sectors.
• Familiarity with Two-Way Radio, Land Mobile Radio, or critical communications is advantageous.
• Proven history of meeting performance targets and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Capability to establish credibility with public safety stakeholders and comprehend operational challenges.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in clearly conveying product features, benefits, and value to customers.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage priorities.
• High-energy, results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and accountability.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.
• Must successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Residency in Kentucky is required, preferably near Bowling Green, KY.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory and manage travel independently.
