This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Drive and expand sales for Schumacher, Patterson Flynn, Tillett Textiles, and Backdrop, encompassing fabric, wallcovering, trim, and rugs within your designated territory.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of your territory, focusing on leading firms, emerging design studios, dormant accounts ready for reactivation, new accounts, and significant trade events that influence the market.
• Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all brands and categories, taking full responsibility for execution.
• Actively engage in the field, including visits to designer offices, project sites, showrooms, industry events, designer dinners, and other relevant gatherings.
• Foster trusted advisor relationships with principal designers, junior staff, and back-office teams within your accounts.
• Represent FSCO at industry events and brand activations with purpose, professionalism, and a distinct perspective.
• Generate qualified leads across all brands and categories, collaborating with your inside colleagues to successfully close each opportunity.
• Provide detailed briefs, context for designers, and timely follow-up to enable the inside team to convert leads effectively.
• Recognize natural cross-selling opportunities. Every Schumacher account presents a Patterson Flynn rug possibility, every Tillett project may lead to a custom rug specification, and every wallcovering installation creates a trim opportunity. The complete portfolio should be integrated into every discussion.
• Curate the sample narrative for each account, considering their aesthetic, projects, and clientele.
• Lead project shops, line shows, and in-person presentations with clarity, style, and confidence.
• Stay well-informed about product launches, collaborations, and trends across all four brands.
• Utilize FSCO’s CRM, sample tools, and reporting platforms diligently, ensuring up-to-date and accurate account records.
• Collaborate closely with your inside team. They are your partners, and clear communication, mutual respect, and shared ownership are vital to achieving success.
• Regularly update your Sales Manager and inside partners on progress, challenges, and pipeline status.
• A minimum of three to five years of outside sales experience, preferably in luxury, design, or trade sectors.
• Proficiency in multi-line or multi-category sales, or a demonstrated history of excelling with complex product lines.
• Established ability to set and meet sales objectives through proactive relationship-building and effective influence over sales decisions.
• Proven track record of creative thinking, account-level sales growth, and strategic new business development in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with digital tools, including CRM systems (such as Odoo or similar), Microsoft Office, Instagram, and email marketing platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exhibiting a clear, professional, and approachable demeanor in all interactions.
• Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and a readiness to travel throughout your territory.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though a strong track record may be more significant than formal credentials.
