This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Acquire new clients and grow existing accounts within a designated territory, consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and finalizing sales opportunities.
• Utilize and collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Product) to effectively navigate intricate sales processes.
• Develop, maintain, and manage specific relationship maps for your territory, encompassing current connections and desired contacts.
• Deliver compelling presentations of CockroachDB’s offerings and vision to diverse audiences, ranging from C-level executives to individual contributors.
• Provide timely and precise forecasts and clear visibility regarding sales and revenue performance by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities.
• 6-8+ years of experience in selling enterprise solutions with a proven track record in software sales within the database ecosystem or related technologies.
• Experience in leading extensive and complex sales cycles at the C-Level within Fortune 500 companies, particularly in the financial services and conglomerate sectors.
• A consultative and value-driven approach to selling software for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions.
• The capability to evaluate customer needs and establish valuable, trusted relationships at all organizational levels.
• A history of surpassing sales objectives and achieving targets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales development.
