This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Cars Commerce clients, concentrating on ongoing customer success, retention, and growth.
• Market products and services to current customers.
• Sustain relationships through regular in-person meetings within a designated geographic area.
• Address client inquiries and suggest suitable products and services.
• Implement sales strategies, identifying and closing upsell opportunities.
• Compile reports and provide insights that convey measurable value to customers.
• Exhibit proficiency in Cars Commerce products, services, and the digital automotive marketplace.
• Manage the sales pipeline diligently—maintain daily Salesforce hygiene, monitor pipeline coverage ratios, forecast accurately, and apply a structured sales methodology at each stage.
• Travel (primarily by driving, with occasional flights) at least 75% of the time within the assigned territory for face-to-face customer interactions.
• Collaborate across sales and service roles at Cars Commerce to ensure customers derive maximum value from the Cars Commerce Platform.
• Over 5 years of progressive B2B sales experience in media, digital advertising, marketing SaaS, or automotive solutions.
• A proven track record of meeting quotas over multiple years—candidates should be ready to provide specific quota figures, attainment percentages, and team/regional rankings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce with strong CRM hygiene practices; daily updates and pipeline reviews should be standard practice.
• Consistent record of quota achievement and an ongoing competitive drive to succeed.
• Experience in selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to business leaders in SMB or mid-market sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Financially driven with a preference for uncapped, accelerated commission structures rather than high-base/low-variable compensation plans.
