This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Drive New Business Growth: Identify, engage, and secure new municipal clients within designated territories.
• Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate trusted connections with key stakeholders in local government agencies.
• Own Territory Strategy: Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to implement targeted account strategies and pipeline initiatives.
• Lead Consultative Sales Cycles: Assess client challenges and present BS&A solutions to enhance municipal operations.
• Leverage Insight-Driven Selling: Conduct thorough research to comprehend organizational priorities, funding mechanisms, and decision-making processes.
• Maintain Pipeline Discipline: Effectively manage opportunities and forecasts using Salesforce.
• Engage Across Channels: Employ a multi-threaded approach (email, phone, video, social media) to foster engagement and progression.
• Represent BS&A in Market: Take part in industry events, trade shows, and presentations.
• Deliver Results: Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events.
• Over 10 years of sales experience, ideally in the governmental or related software sectors.
• Strong background in prospecting, territory planning, and cold calling.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skill in building and nurturing relationships with prospects.
• A positive and proactive mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and collaborating effectively within a growing team.
