This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and finalizing deals for mid-sized jurisdictions.
• Enhance and expand revenue from both existing and potential customers by promoting and cross-selling our solutions to new departments.
• Cultivate, establish, and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers in both current and prospective customer organizations.
• Assess the needs of customers and prospects and customize solutions to address those needs effectively.
• Keep precise and current forecasts of opportunities and records in the CRM system.
• Lead and assist in responding to RFPs.
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Achieve annual sales goals.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-4 years of sales experience, ideally with software solutions for state and local governments.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong urgency, accountability, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Previous experience in accurately qualifying new opportunities and forecasting sales.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.
