This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support for Public Relations initiatives

• Conducting research on reporters and developing focused media lists using databases and online sources

• Researching and formulating editorial calendars

• Gathering market research and industry data sheets

• Compiling and overseeing lists of awards, events, and speaking opportunities

• Distributing pitches and executing media follow-ups to secure placements

• Organizing logistics for media interviews

• Drafting briefing documents for client interviews

• Participating in and documenting client conference calls

• Monitoring and recording client media coverage

• Compiling news round-ups for clients

• Assisting in managing social media activities for both the firm and clients

• Editing pitches, press releases, and various other marketing and PR content and messaging

• Entry-level writing tasks that will evolve over time

• Supporting the overall needs of the client team, acting as a key contact for any projects that arise outside of the assigned client group, including research, editing, or drafting content for clients not directly assigned

• Keeping updated media lists for the team and clients, ensuring that current contact information is available for all media outreach efforts

• Compiling and reviewing client and team reports along with media metrics

• Regularly reading essential media outlets to ensure ongoing knowledge expansion in the financial services and technology sectors (fintech, proptech, insurtech)


⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant internship experience in PR, communications, marketing, or a related field

• Strong writing skills with a passion for storytelling

• Enthusiasm for fintech and financial services

• Intellectual curiosity regarding businesses and the role of strategic marketing communications in business growth

• Solutions-oriented with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude

• Passionate communicator with excellent presentation skills

• Team player, supportive and considerate of colleagues

• A keen observer of the media landscape – identifying new publications, writers, and relevant topics
