Account Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a primary contact for WM's Small/Medium business clientele

• Maintain and expand the team's portfolio of clients

• Handle incoming call inquiries and engage in proactive customer outreach

• Prevent customer cancellations and secure updated contract renewals

• Communicate effectively and persuasively with customers, colleagues, and business partners

• Employ change management strategies to fulfill sales objectives

• Dedicate time to retention and acquisition targets, needs, and opportunities

• Investigate alternatives to establish mutually advantageous sales agreements

• Participate in both individual and collaborative responsibilities within a team setting

• Navigate various systems, sales tools, and processes while accurately recording customer interactions

• Utilize WM sales productivity software, including Salesforce.com/Customer Relationship Management and Pricing Tools

• Address complex customer requirements and resolve escalated customer concerns

• Provide support to existing customers outside the designated market area as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (from an accredited institution)

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a WM Account Associate I

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities

• Capability to manage goals for customer retention and acquisition

• Proficient in navigating various systems, sales tools, and processes

• Experience with Salesforce.com/Customer Relationship Management and Pricing Tools

• Ability to handle complex customer demands and address escalated issues

• Willingness to support customers outside the designated market area when required

• Competence in using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers

• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if necessary for air travel or access to federal properties
