This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop a deep understanding of the Viessmann product range, focusing on installation, start-up & commissioning, service & troubleshooting details, and related technologies.
• Product Line Expertise encompasses Residential & Light Commercial condensing boilers, as well as heat pumps – air to air, air to water, and water to air.
• Create and demonstrate a signature teaching style that enhances student engagement and retention.
• Conduct targeted, impactful training sessions designed for various stakeholders, including sales teams, wholesalers/distributors, and trade contractors/dealers.
• Play a key role in collaboration with fellow Academy instructors to develop and maintain the Academy Curriculum, including the creation of presentations, course agendas, and relevant class materials, with a focus on in-territory/travel training adaptation.
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of effective tools for in-territory training (for instance, traveling control simulators and the infomobile [mobile-training unit] fleet) to enhance training effectiveness.
• Supervise and, if necessary, assist with driving the infomobile, ensuring field maintenance and upkeep.
• High School Diploma/GED along with a Trade School Certificate or over 5 years of apprenticeship experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC/R.
• At least 2 years of experience in public speaking or teaching.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for in-territory classroom training or as required within North America (United States and Canada).
• Self-driven and dedicated to continually enhancing the knowledge and skills necessary for growth as an instructor.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering educational training to customers and/or employees.
• Technical expertise in Condensing Boilers and Heat Pumps, applicable to both Residential and/or Commercial settings.
• Proficiency in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
• Basic proficiency in file management, internet navigation, operating systems, and office productivity software.
• Tradesperson licensing for gas fitting and/or refrigeration is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and organized/systematic working habits.
• Excellent Communication Skills, with the ability to gauge an audience to deliver a remarkable training seminar.
• Capacity to accept constructive criticism and feedback positively, using it as motivation for further skill development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
