This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee operational responsibilities related to the daily administration of significant academic programs.
• Address Tier I/Tier II Academic Operations inquiries through various channels including CRM, telephone, email, chat, and in-person visits.
• Direct questions to the relevant team members or departments using CRM and telephone communication.
• Collaborate with the Service Center.
• Reconstruct and maintain records.
• Evaluate Bowie University undergraduate and graduate records to verify that UMGC coursework is reflected on Bowie transcripts.
• Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Scan, evaluate, and enter data from official transcripts and other academic documents.
• Input incoming documents into the Document Management System and update student records in the SIS.
• Conduct manual data entry for test scores, professional certifications, international evaluation credits, and military credits.
• Assist management with special projects, memo generation, spreadsheet creation, tracking systems, and data organization.
• Locate archived files/documents for stateside, Asia, and Europe and digitize them into the DMS.
• Receive, categorize, and process incoming mail, ensuring it reaches the intended recipient or team.
• Investigate and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers through phone, email, CRM cases, chat, and other established communication methods.
• Provide course descriptions to representatives from colleges and universities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to further the University’s mission.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in administrative support roles.
• General understanding of business English, including spelling and grammar conventions.
• Proficiency in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
• Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to present statistical data in table, chart, or graph formats.
• Capacity to plan, organize, and prioritize various tasks and assignments effectively.
• Skill in managing confidential and sensitive information with care and professionalism.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to comprehend and follow both oral and written instructions.
• Ability to cultivate and sustain effective working relationships.
• Proficiency in operating computers and other office machinery.
• Ability to train, supervise, and evaluate staff members.
• Submission of a cover letter and resume is required.
