This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee student workload and fulfill daily responsibilities using the Roadrunner System, Student Portfolio Report, or alternative tools.
• Actively identify at-risk students, offer timely solutions, and link students to resources that foster their success.
• Review student degree plans, course schedules, and academic performance to ensure compliance with University policies and Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.
• Counsel students regarding financial aid requirements, university regulations, and any modifications to their academic paths.
• Monitor student account balances, recommend lockouts or dismissals when warranted, and assist in collection efforts.
• Professionally support escalated student cases and communicate University information effectively.
• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, departmental initiatives, and special projects.
• Connect with students via phone calls, emails, texts, and chats throughout their academic experience.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• At least one (1) year of experience in advising, customer service, or a related field is required.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Background in student services or training and development within a collegial environment is preferred.
• Experience in a dynamic customer- or student-focused role is preferred.
• Familiarity with higher education and technology-driven enterprises is preferred.
• Understanding of academic and business practices in an online university context.
• Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and updates.
• Strong focus on customer service, with the ability to manage conflicts, de-escalate issues, and communicate professionally across all channels.
• Solution-oriented mindset while adhering to University and federal guidelines.
• Understanding of financial aid programs, the FDCP Act, and standard payment practices.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all interactions and documentation.
• Proficient in written communication and report preparation.
• Skilled in utilizing technology for online engagement.
• Team-oriented with collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of and alignment with the University’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be eligible for access to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
