• Utilize a strong understanding of Revit models to ensure quantities are sourced from properly structured and modeled elements.
• Develop and uphold consistent quantity breakdowns that align with data center scopes (foundations, superstructure, MEP systems, equipment zones, phases).
• Guarantee quantity accuracy and traceability throughout model revisions and design milestones.
• Conduct model comparisons and analyze quantity changes between different versions of the Revit model.
• Identify and relay quantity and cost-impacting changes to estimating and project teams.
• Facilitate rapid design iterations typical of hyperscale and AI data center projects.
• Review Revit models for parameter completeness, modeling consistency, and classification.
• Collaborate with BIM authors to resolve issues affecting quantities and downstream analysis.
• Export structured quantity data to Excel or other cost tools for pricing and analysis.
• Generate clear quantity reports, change summaries, and dashboards for internal teams and clients based in the US.
• Utilize Power BI (when available) to visualize quantities, trends, and design changes across model versions.
• Support the repeatability and auditability of quantities across extensive, program-level data center projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience engaging with BIM models in a production, coordination, estimating, or VDC role.
• Experience with large-scale, technically challenging projects (preferably in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial, or large commercial sectors).
