3PL Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily operational oversight across various 3PL partners utilizing KPIs, dashboards, and reports.

• Evaluate 3PL performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure partners are held accountable through data-informed communication and regular follow-ups.

• Examine operational challenges across systems, carriers, and warehouses, documenting root causes and solutions.

• Analyze extensive data sets using Excel and other reporting tools to uncover trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and opportunities for operational enhancement.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously refine recurring reports and dashboards, ensuring data precision, punctuality, and actionable insights.

• Liaise with internal teams, 3PL partners, carriers, and clients.

• Share operational insights, trends, and recommendations with internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Effectively manage daily priorities and task lists independently with minimal guidance.

• Identify manual or repetitive processes, suggest automation possibilities, and assist in implementing scalable operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Aid in ad hoc operational projects and peak-period execution.

• Assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing internal and external SOPs and operational documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related area.

• Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Strong expertise in Excel, including managing large datasets, using formulas, filters, and pivot tables.

• Previous experience with substantial operational datasets, KPI reporting, and performance analysis is preferred.

• Comfortable presenting operational updates and performance metrics to partners or clients.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• Self-motivated individual who can work independently in an environment with low supervision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Process-oriented understanding of systems, data, and workflow interactions.

• Ability to recognize automation opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.

• Flexibility to implement process changes swiftly.

• Experience with third-party logistics providers is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with identifying and executing workflow automations is beneficial, but not essential.

• Experience with Zendesk is a plus, though not required.

• Must reside on the West Coast of the United States.

• Availability during the preferred working hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PT, Monday through Friday.
