3D GIS, Visualization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality 3D models of residential properties and urban landscapes derived from satellite or aerial imagery.

• Develop and enhance real-time 3D visualizations for online platforms.

• Work in collaboration with web developers to facilitate the seamless integration of 3D assets into the user interface.

• Establish efficient pipelines for processing raw geospatial imagery, aligning datasets, and preparing inputs for 3D modeling.

• Document methodologies, experiments, and outcomes; engage actively in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Design and prepare high-quality datasets (such as RGB images, depth maps, and 3D meshes) for training deep learning models focused on 3D reconstruction or object recognition.

• Validate and enhance model outputs to ensure geometric precision, visual realism, and optimized performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher in Urban Planning, Geomatics, Architecture, GIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in 3D modeling of urban environments or city-scale visualizations.

• Demonstrated experience with 3D city models, digital twins, or urban simulations.

• A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects in urban-scale 3D modeling or visualization.

• Proficiency in GIS and geospatial tools, such as QGIS, ArcGIS, or PostGIS.

• Familiarity with CityGML, CesiumJS, or other tools for 3D city data and online visualization.

• Capability to work with aerial imagery, DSM, LiDAR, photogrammetry, or other 3D data sources.

• Experience in programming or automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or C++).
