2D Art Generalist – NFL Universe Football

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality 2D assets for NFL Universe Football, which includes UI components (such as buttons, icons, menus, HUDs, and pop-ups) as well as promotional and seasonal materials like banners, event graphics, animated emojis, and in-game offers.

• Work closely with Engineers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to refine layouts, interactions, and visual states that improve the player experience.

• Uphold and advance the game's visual language by adhering to established style guides while also introducing new ideas and enhancements where suitable.

• Guarantee that all interface and visual assets are intuitive, legible, and optimized for desktop, mobile, and console platforms.

• Engage in UI and UX discussions by offering insightful feedback and aiding in the enhancement of usability, clarity, and overall visual quality.

• Actively participate in team meetings, including art reviews, scrums, and one-on-ones, while fostering a collaborative and feedback-driven creative environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A compelling portfolio showcasing refined 2D UI and 2D assets within a gaming context.

• Solid foundation in drawing, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects/Premiere, or similar design tools.

• Practical experience in creating functional UI elements for game titles.

• Understanding of production workflows and asset optimization techniques.

• Excellent communication skills across all platforms utilized in our remote work environment, along with the capacity to receive and implement constructive criticism.

• Nice to Have: Knowledge of how 2D interface and promotional assets integrate with and enhance 3D game environments.

• Experience with Roblox Studio's UI systems, asset pipelines, and image specifications.

• Familiarity with Roblox ScreenGui hierarchies, responsive UI design, resolution scaling, and considerations for multi-device input.

• Capability to prepare and organize UI assets in Roblox Studio to facilitate seamless implementation by engineering teams.

• A passion for football, sports, or sports entertainment.

• Strong understanding of Gen Alpha culture, including gaming trends, memes, creators, fashion, and internet culture.

• Extensive knowledge of the Roblox platform, community, and player experiences.
