1st-5th Grade Math and ELA Tutor, Weekdays 8am-10am EST

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual-only tutoring in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math to students in grades 1-5 throughout the United States.

• Conduct small group instruction online for students in grades 3-5.

• Assist school partners by offering engagement opportunities, which may include summer academies and support for remediation.

• Facilitate tutoring sessions on weekday mornings, typically from 8-10am EST.

• Prepare minimally, log in ahead of time, and complete session documentation.

• Demonstrate interest in and accept available tutoring opportunities after joining the TbT Teacher Community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a teacher in the United States.

• Background in teaching Math and/or ELA within a classroom setting.

• Availability during the hours of 8-10am ET.

• Familiarity with online teaching environments.

• Proficiency in using Teams or Zoom.

• Experience in remediation, intervention, or small group instruction (preferred).

• Background in secondary math (preferred).

• Experience working with SPED or ELL students (preferred).

• Bi-lingual capabilities (preferred).

• Experience with Advanced Placement (AP) courses (preferred).

• Possession of an active teaching credential (preferred).
