10-11th Grade ELA Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Instructors will become part of SEO’s dedicated community of educators, implementing a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum for motivated high school Scholars.

• Utilizing our unique curriculum and a student-focused teaching approach, instructors play a crucial role in guiding our Scholars toward competitive college admissions and future success.

• Furthermore, instructors enhance understanding and skill development by acting as coaches and facilitators in the learning process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area.

• Teaching certification, K-12 classroom teaching experience, and/or experience in higher education teaching.

• Prior experience working with high school students.

• Proficient in navigating technological learning platforms.

• Strong expertise and extensive knowledge in advanced high school-level English and Humanities subjects.

• A willingness to engage in discussions that analyze the historical and ongoing causes of societal issues and challenges.

• Access to a reliable personal laptop. Seasonal instructors are required to have their own device that meets the basic technology requirements for all instructional and administrative tasks.
