Yemeni Arabic Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Yemeni Arabic Telephone Interpreter is tasked with managing calls on demand and conveying the essence of conversations between Yemeni Arabic and English speakers.

• The interpreter plays a crucial role in overcoming communication barriers across various sectors served by LanguageLine Solutions, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, General Business, Law Enforcement, Court, and 911.

• Ensure punctuality and availability throughout working hours.

• Adhere to client instructions in accordance with established protocols to guarantee that client expectations are fulfilled.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Yemeni Arabic and English, along with a strong understanding of the related cultural dynamics.

• Capability to provide cultural competence and evaluate regional and accent variations to effectively communicate with Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals.

• Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to uphold a high standard of accuracy during interpretation.

• Capacity to focus, remain detached from the conversation, and maintain neutrality and objectivity at all times.

• Preferably possess education or professional experience in language-related fields such as teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation.

• Must be adaptable to any LLS technology advancements that enhance service delivery and align with client needs.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Legally permitted to work in the United States.

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
