
Working Student – AI Balancing, Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assist in balancing and simulation efforts across essential game systems, including heroes, troops, economy, progression, and events.
• Contribute to the enhancement and operation of our AI-driven balancing toolchain and workflows.
• Develop scripts, automations, and machine learning-supported workflows to increase balancing efficiency and iteration speed.
• Evaluate balancing data, simulation results, and player behavior indicators to inform balancing decisions.
• Collaborate closely with game design, QA, engineering, and production teams on balancing issues and tooling improvements.
• Aid in documenting and structuring balancing processes, prompts, datasets, and workflows to facilitate scalable AI-assisted production.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, Game Design, or a relevant discipline.
• Strong enthusiasm for AI-native workflows, automation, LLM tooling, or machine learning applications.
• Proficient in using modern AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or comparable technologies.
• Possess an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and structured thinking.
• Have a passion for strategy games and understanding of balancing systems.
• Nice to have: Experience in game balancing, simulations, data analysis, or modding.
• Nice to have: Experience in developing small machine learning projects, agents, automations, or personal AI workflows.
