This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to gain a comprehensive understanding of customers’ current network environments, encompassing CPE, access, transport, core, and OSS/BSS layers.
• Clearly document network topologies, business process flows, and integration points, emphasizing constraints, dependencies, and design assumptions.
• Assist customers and internal stakeholders in comprehending trade-offs and priorities when designing solutions that integrate new and legacy infrastructure along with business operations.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Account Executives to facilitate technical discovery and qualification of prospective clients.
• Convert customer network requirements into customized solutions that demonstrate the value and practicality of gaiia’s platform.
• Create and implement workflows using gaiia’s workflow builder.
• Provide architectural guidance and clarification during the onboarding and implementation stages.
• Develop an efficient and repeatable process for network scoping, in-depth analysis, solution alignment, and implementation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams requiring insights on customer network design and implementation considerations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape the roadmap based on real-world customer network requirements.
• Drive the requirements for a team of skilled software engineers to create network provisioning automations based on your designs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering) or equivalent practical experience, along with industry certifications.
• Profound knowledge of the telecom sector and network engineering.
• Proficiency in understanding and coding workflows in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or a similar role within the broader B2B SaaS industry.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong enthusiasm for technology and innovation.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the US to actively support our customers during crucial engagements and go-lives.
