Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Collects, compiles, and accurately relays workers’ compensation information.

• Investigates, assesses, and resolves claims related to lost time Workers’ Compensation.

• Facilitates mediation between the insured party and the insurance provider.

• Inputs and maintains precise information within a computer system.

• Generates daily checks for indemnity and medical payments.

• Develops and oversees consistency in procedural aspects of claims management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in claims with a solid background in Workers’ Compensation claims management.

• A valid state-specific Workers Compensation License is required or the ability to obtain it within three months of employment.

• Proficient understanding of Workers’ Compensation insurance coverage and claims processing protocols.

• Capability to adjudicate lost time claims across various jurisdictions.

• Strong knowledge of claims principles, practices, and interpretation of insurance coverage.
