Workers Compensation Claims Examiner – NY Jurisdiction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and managing claims through well-structured action plans to achieve a suitable and timely resolution by investigating and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Facilitating negotiations for claim settlements within assigned authority limits.

• Keeping the claimant and client informed about claim activities and processing.

• Submitting claims to the excess carrier and addressing requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in claims management or a relevant combination of education and experience is required.

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification related to the line of business is also preferred.

• Knowledge of jurisdiction: NY Licensing: NY.
