Workday Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Workday applications and their integrations.

• Develop and update test plans, test cases, test scripts, and related testing documentation.

• Validate various Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, and Financials.

• Carry out manual and automated testing activities in accordance with project requirements.

• Evaluate business and functional requirements to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.

• Identify, document, track, and retest defects utilizing defect management tools.

• Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and business users during the System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.

• Assist in Workday implementation, enhancement, and production support initiatives.

• Engage in requirement reviews and offer quality assurance recommendations.

• Ensure adherence to testing standards, QA methodologies, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing with significant exposure to Workday applications.

• Practical experience in testing Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, or Financials.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.

• Experience in integration testing involving Workday APIs, EIBs, Studio, or third-party systems.

• Familiarity with testing and defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments is preferred.

• Workday certification and experience in automation testing are advantageous.

• Availability to start immediately, if possible.
