Workday Integration Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain integrations between Workday and various systems.

• Develop integration solutions tailored to business needs by designing and configuring Workday integrations utilizing tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (WWS).

• Establish data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate data flow between Workday and other systems.

• Employ RESTful and SOAP APIs for integrating Workday with external applications and systems, ensuring precise data exchange.

• Conduct thorough testing of integrations to confirm their functionality, proper error handling, and adherence to business requirements.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, providing continuous support for seamless operations.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration designs, configurations, data mappings, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, comprehend integration needs, and ensure successful implementation.

• Manage and implement modifications to integrations, including updates and enhancements, while minimizing disruptions to existing systems.

• Monitor integration performance and address any performance-related issues to sustain efficient data flows.

• Ensure integrations adhere to data security standards and organizational policies, implementing appropriate security measures and authentication protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Workday HCM integrations, including development, maintenance, and support.

• Proficiency in Workday Integration Tools: Familiarity with Workday's integration tools and technologies, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (WWS).

• System Integration: Expertise in integrating Workday with external systems, such as ERP and CRM, along with experience in Workday report writing and Payroll interfaces like PECI & PICOF.

• Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as XSLT for data transformation, as well as scripting languages like JavaScript or Groovy for custom integrations.

• API Integration: Proficient in RESTful and SOAP APIs for connecting Workday with other systems and applications.

• Data Formats: Familiarity with various data formats including XML, JSON, and CSV for data exchange and transformation.

• Database Skills: Understanding of database concepts and SQL for data management and querying.

• Security and Authentication: Knowledge of security protocols and authentication methods, including OAuth and SAML, to ensure secure data exchange.

• Error Handling and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot and debug integration issues for seamless operation.

• Testing and Validation: Experience in testing and validating integrations to ensure they meet business requirements and function correctly in various scenarios.

• Change Management: Skills in managing changes to integration configurations while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
