Associate Curriculum Developer, Regional Training Lead – JAPAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Oversee regional training coordinators and team trainers, ensuring alignment with Training & Onboarding processes, SOPs, and expectations.

• Supervise onboarding and training for new hires in your region, guaranteeing a consistent, high-quality experience and timely progression through required learning paths.

• Assist in the ongoing maintenance and evolution of training content by updating materials as processes change, monitoring content health, and ensuring onboarding reflects current tools, workflows, and best practices.

• Provide immediate training and system support within the region, contributing to a follow-the-sun model for key platforms utilized by Training and Onboarding.

• Collaborate with Curriculum Developers to aid in the creation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of training content, including providing regional insights, assisting with content development, and ensuring materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.

• Analyze training data and metrics to identify knowledge gaps, regional trends, or performance challenges, and propose solutions or targeted interventions.

• Assist in the intake and prioritization of regional training needs, ensuring alignment with the broader training strategy and organizational roadmap.

• Maintain close communication with regional leaders, onboarding leads, and cross-functional partners to ensure visibility into progress, challenges, and upcoming initiatives.

• Ensure consistent adherence to T&O-owned onboarding standards and content within your region while adapting the delivery and operational execution to fit regional workflows and schedules.

• Keep documentation, JIRA tickets, and training records to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.

• Provide hands-on training or support facilitation as required.

• Background in training, enablement, onboarding, or related operational roles.

• Proven ability to manage individuals and foster accountability across distributed teams.

• Strong organizational skills to track training progression, monitor metrics, and identify improvement areas.

• Experience in analyzing data to reveal deficiencies, trends, or readiness gaps, with the ability to articulate proposed solutions.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across time zones and global teams.

• Familiarity with learning management systems such as Docebo (or equivalent LMS platform).

• Experience using Jira or similar project/workflow management tools.

• Capability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
