Bare Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Tether and influence the evolution of digital finance by developing and maintaining the runtime and its associated ecosystem.

• Create native addons that connect platform APIs with JavaScript.

• Troubleshoot issues across various operating systems.

• Work autonomously, taking ownership of modules from start to finish, and deploy code for multiple devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in C programming, with a background in writing and debugging native code across different platforms.

• Expertise in JavaScript complemented by a comprehensive understanding of Node.js internals and the module ecosystem.

• Experience in developing native addons for Node.js or comparable runtimes (N-API, node-gyp, or similar).

• Knowledge of libuv or other asynchronous I/O frameworks.

• Comfortable navigating build toolchains across macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.

• Familiarity with cross-compilation and platform-specific system APIs (Bluetooth, networking, filesystem).

• Capability to read and traverse large C and C++ codebases.

• Self-motivated work ethic with excellent written communication skills.
