Workday Extend Lead – Senior Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design and architecture process of Workday Extend applications.

• Convert complex business needs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for Extend development.

• Ensure coherence with the broader Workday ecosystem, including HCM, Finance, Integrations, and Reporting.

• Provide direct guidance and supervision to development teams.

• Keep abreast of the latest Workday Extend capabilities and roadmap.

• Conduct design and code reviews, along with solution validation.

• Diagnose intricate technical problems and lead the resolution process.

• Act as the main technical liaison for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Facilitate technical workshops, design sessions, and solution presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience with Workday, including practical development experience with Workday Extend.

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver Extend solutions in a client-facing capacity.

• Experience in various domains such as HCM, Finance, Integrations, and Reporting.

• Strong grasp of Workday architecture and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, APIs).

• Knowledge of Workday security and business process frameworks.

• Experience with contemporary development concepts (APIs, JSON, event-driven architectures).
