• Providing honest effort estimates, adhering to committed timelines, and proactively flagging risks when deadlines may slip.

• Engaging with clients directly to comprehend requirements, suggest approaches, and address change requests.

• Contributing to project design documentation, technical specifications, and input for the Software Requirements Specification.

• Effectively utilizing AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) as part of routine delivery, including writing or configuring agentic workflows that significantly enhance productivity.

• Judging when AI/ML solutions are suitable, when they may be excessive, and when they could introduce risks that surpass the benefits.

• Setting up and maintaining build environments, CI configurations, and other infrastructure that aids the team's delivery.

• Assisting junior developers in overcoming challenges and writing code reviews that educate rather than merely gatekeep.

• Participating in peer code reviews within the team and contributing to engineering standards.

• Leading a development team as the designer, technical decision-maker, and primary point of contact on a day-to-day basis.

• Owning the technical design, architectural decisions, and definition of done for the team.

• Distributing tasks among team members to balance delivery, individual growth, and team capacity.

• Estimating larger work components, defending the estimates with stakeholders, and adjusting plans as necessary when scope or risk changes.

• Preparing regular status updates and communicating project risks, obstacles, and progress to management and clients.

• Representing your team in cross-functional discussions with the Project Manager, QA Lead, designers, and clients.

• Coordinating core working hours and team rituals with the Project Manager and QA Lead.

• Addressing conflicts within the team and between the team and other departments, escalating issues only when absolutely necessary.

• Participating in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new development staff joining your team.

• Mentoring developers in your team and, when applicable, leading or coaching client developers as part of Atimi's mentorship program.

• Making decisions on AI tools and agentic workflows for the team, determining which tools to utilize, when automated agents can be trusted to deploy code, and identifying where human review is essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited university.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in implementing Workday integrations.

• More than 6 years of software development experience (Java, Typescript, or Python).

• Expertise in Workday HR module.

• Proficiency in Prism Analytics.

• Experience with WD Studio.

• Background in working directly with clients and other project stakeholders to define and refine requirements.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Expertise in WD Extend.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Interface Builder.

• Knowledge in finance.

• Experience with Salesforce.

• Experience with Peoplesoft.
