This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Assist the collaborative care team by engaging in regular consultations regarding an assigned group of patients.
β’ Provide guidance to the OB/GYN provider on suitable medications and treatment methods or directly manage patients for short-term medication needs.
β’ Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication management sessions for patients through telehealth platforms.
β’ Offer pre-conception medication consultations and psycho-education for individuals attempting to conceive.
β’ Execute asynchronous consultations by reviewing clinical information related to the caseload.
β’ Ensure documentation for case consultations and patient visits is completed within 24 hours post-visit.
β’ Collaborate with care managers to monitor the status and health outcomes of the assigned patient group.
β’ Equip the care team with educational resources on diagnosing and treating behavioral health issues.
β’ Be accessible for on-demand consultations with OB providers for intricate cases.
β’ Must be a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in Massachusetts.
β’ Capable of practicing independently without supervision in the respective state(s) of licensure.
β’ Must possess an active DEA license in the state(s) of licensure.
β’ Must have an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
β’ Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
β’ Exceptional communication skills.
β’ A positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
β’ Ability to swiftly synthesize medical and psychiatric information and provide effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.
β’ Passionate and motivated by a mission to enhance mental healthcare delivery during the perinatal and/or perimenopause phases, especially for vulnerable populations.
β’ Relevant experience or interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care is preferred.
β’ 60-minute Psychiatric Evaluation: $125
β’ 25-minute Psychiatric Follow-up: $50
