This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the commissioning of PLC and HMI systems, ensuring proper configuration and communication across client systems.
• Perform hardware and functionality tests in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Aid in system integration testing, which includes WMS connectivity, adapter cells, storage, and safety systems.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues utilizing various diagnostic tools.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, software, and customer support teams during commissioning and go-live phases.
• Carry out tasks outlined in the Commissioning Services Scope of Work, including cabinet startup, software loading, configuration, and validation.
• Partner with electrical technicians to activate control cabinets, configure PLC software, and conduct functionality and performance assessments.
• Provide support for the deployment, integration, testing, optimization, and commissioning of robotic automation systems at customer locations.
• Recent graduate from an accredited university.
• A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, robotics, industrial engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial networking.
• Familiarity with robotics systems such as ABB is advantageous.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel to client and customer sites by driving or flying.
• Must possess a credit card and be able to manage personal expenses for bi-weekly reimbursement.
• Compliance with lockout/tagout and fall-protection safety protocols is essential.
• Ability to work at heights up to 45 feet and in confined areas with a width of 24 inches.
• Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work comfortably in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
• Must be able to wear necessary PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, steel-toe footwear, eyeglasses, ear protection, and fall-protection gear.
