Windows Server Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.

• Provide support and administration for applications hosted on Internet Information Services (IIS).

• Implement and uphold Hardening configurations to enhance server security.

• Administer digital certificates and configure TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 protocols.

• Monitor the state of the infrastructure and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to Windows servers and IIS services.

• Apply best practices for security and infrastructure optimization.

• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure service continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in administering Windows Server.

• Proficiency with Internet Information Services (IIS).

• Experience in Hardening Windows servers.

• Knowledge in managing digital certificates.

• Experience configuring and managing TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3.

• Ability to troubleshoot incidents and optimize infrastructure performance.

• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities.

• Preferred: Knowledge of .NET.

• Preferred: Experience in high-availability enterprise environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with security best practices for Microsoft platforms.
