Window & Door Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Carry out warranty field service duties, encompassing inspections and repairs of window and door products.

• Record service activities and keep precise documentation.

• Create comprehensive service reports that include photos and detailed descriptions.

• Ensure tools and service vehicle are well-maintained.

• Operate the company vehicle in a safe manner.

• Participate in water tests, identify issues, and carry out necessary repairs.

• Adhere to safety protocols and actively engage in the Accident Prevention Program.

• Organize schedule to ensure prompt arrival and readiness for tasks.

• Uphold a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.

• Travel by plane, car, or other means as required.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.

• Timely submission of expense reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

• Experience in the production or servicing of vinyl windows and doors is required.

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

• Capable of lifting between 50-75 lbs., climbing, pulling, and performing tasks on ladders and scaffolding.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Office 365.

• Reliable, self-driven, and adept at problem-solving.

• Strong skills in customer service, communication, and organization.

• Boom lift certification is preferred.

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in servicing vinyl windows and doors.

• Previous experience in conducting and observing window water tests is preferred.

• Comfortable working at heights exceeding 50 feet.

• Availability for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and frequent overtime.

• Willingness to travel weekly, including overnight stays.
