Wind Turbine Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Enhance knowledge of the EWT wind turbine platform.

• Lead the team through maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

• Conduct hands-on maintenance of wind turbines.

• Address mechanical and electrical challenges.

• Collaborate with remote support teams to analyze data and enhance operations.

• Ensure turbines function at optimal performance and comply with operational standards.

• Resolve issues discovered during walk-down inspections.

• Mentor other technicians on wind turbine-related matters.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the technical team.

• Travel to various locations, including international sites, as necessary.

• Participate in a weekend on-call schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical qualification or equivalent experience in the wind industry.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting wind turbines.

• Experience in addressing issues identified during walk-down inspections.

• Willingness to travel to different sites as required.

• Valid UK driver’s license.

• Ability to travel internationally when needed.

• Physically fit and comfortable with working at heights.

• Willingness to engage in a weekend on-call rota.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

• Problem-solving orientation with strong attention to detail.

• Eagerness to share knowledge and assist colleagues.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to new challenges.
