This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with site leadership to fulfill contractual obligations in accordance with customer specifications.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, or part replacements to resolve malfunctions.

• Diagnose intricate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch and variable speed turbines.

• Assist in all aspects of site operations as instructed by management with minimal supervision.

• Carry out various diagnostic electrical assessments.

• Record all completed tasks utilizing computer-based service reporting systems.

• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Successful completion of a Technical Knowledge Assessment.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic.

• Completion of a Wind Certificate Program or an Associate's Degree in Energy.

• Minimum of 2 years of electrical work experience.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

• Ability to lift repetitive weights of approximately 50 lbs.

• Capable of climbing towers up to 300 feet on a daily basis.

• Must meet specified manufacturer weight limits not exceeding 300 lbs, including necessary gear.

• Proficient in understanding electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.

• Willingness to work in diverse environments, including but not limited to industrial, manufacturing, and power industry facilities.

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and be on-call based on site requirements.
