This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Process applications for submission to underwriting.

• Verify the accuracy of data in the loan origination software.

• Collect and submit files to underwriting.

• Resolve loan conditions with applicants to secure final approval and proceed to closing.

• Collaborate with loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, closers, appraisal management companies (AMCs), and title companies.

• Scan and upload documentation into the loan origination system.

• Communicate with applicants and loan officers regarding the status of loan conditions.

• Assess credit, income, tax returns, and asset documentation.

• Execute other mortgage-related or company tasks as assigned by management.

• Maintain the confidentiality of client files.

• Meet various competing deadlines while exhibiting professional behavior.

• Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in reverse mortgage processing is required.

• Strong skills in time management and prioritization.

• Capability to meet deadlines effectively.

• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting procedures, manuals, policies, and regulations.

• Above-average oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong customer service and analytical skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.

• Ability to perform well under pressure.

• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must ensure the confidentiality of client files.
