Welding Inspector – CWI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Executes responsibilities as assigned by the Project Supervisor/Chief Inspector, adhering to the job requirements specified in the Purchaser’s guidelines.

• Compiles all necessary reports documenting the daily welding activities, repairs, and additional relevant information.

• Examines the Purchaser’s specifications and procedures to guarantee compliance with established standards.

• Collaborates with the contractor as part of a team to fulfill essential tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Welding Inspector (CWI) is mandatory.

• Experience in valve replacements, station operations, or maintenance and repair (M&R) piping is preferred.

• Proficiency in working with Mark up drawings (redlines) is necessary.

• Ability to track weld locations, document field changes, record materials utilized, and ensure alignment with installed components.

• Assist in the preparation of the final turnover package.
