This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop new websites from the ground up, utilizing designer mockups or client brand guidelines on WordPress and/or Webflow.
• Tailor themes, templates, and layouts to align with brand and design objectives.
• Take responsibility for ongoing website maintenance, which includes updates, security measures, backups, performance enhancements, bug fixes, content modifications, and minor feature additions.
• Convert designs and brand guidelines into clean, responsive, high-quality websites.
• Build with a focus on technical SEO and site performance, considering factors like page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.
• Oversee and maintain multiple websites for Nexus clients and Foundry for Good brands simultaneously.
• Quickly and reliably diagnose and resolve site issues.
• Participate in client calls to showcase work, gather feedback, and clearly explain technical considerations.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and account managers to produce websites that fulfill client objectives and uphold quality standards.
• Keep organized project files, documentation, and asset libraries.
• Reside in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term position.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in website development and design.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly present work to clients.
• Strong academic credentials with an impressive General Weighted Average.
• A degree in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, or a related discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of WordPress or Webflow (expertise in both is an advantage) and a willingness to develop skills in both platforms.
• Proficient in working with themes, templates, and visual editors (such as Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, or Webflow's designer).
• Solid HTML/CSS capabilities for customization and troubleshooting; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
• A robust portfolio showcasing polished, responsive websites.
• Strong design sensibility and the ability to transform mockups and brand guidelines into high-quality sites.
• An understanding of technical SEO and best practices for site performance (expertise in SEO is not required).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma (for working from mockups and handoff) and Adobe Suite or Canva is a plus.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple builds and maintenance tasks across various sites.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable when it comes to resolving issues.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in an agency or fast-paced setting is a significant advantage.
