This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• This position reports directly to the Director of Social and oversees social strategy and execution for 4-6 clients.
• You will be tasked with establishing the strategic direction, defining the content approach, and ensuring each brand communicates with clarity and purpose across various platforms.
• The role demands robust strategic thinking alongside precise daily execution, collaborating closely with PR, Content, Events, Marketing, and Growth teams to create a cohesive go-to-market presence.
• Develop and implement platform-specific social strategies that align with each client’s positioning, audience, and objectives.
• Craft clear, concise, and context-sensitive social content across various formats and tones, including announcements, threads, explainers, news reactions, and technical content.
• Maintain an active awareness of the crypto and emerging tech landscape, keeping track of narratives, trends, competitors, and opportunities.
• Manage daily social operations, including scheduling, posting, real-time engagement, and ensuring a consistent publishing frequency.
• Work in collaboration with PR, Content, and Growth teams to ensure social efforts are in sync with broader campaigns and product timelines.
• Leverage analytics and platform data to uncover opportunities, refine strategies, and measure effectiveness.
• Plan and execute social-native activations such as Spaces, AMAs, giveaways, and other campaign formats.
• Ensure that all content maintains a consistent messaging tone and aligns with brand identity across platforms.
• Over 3 years of experience managing brand social accounts, preferably in crypto, AI, or emerging tech.
• Strong and adaptable copywriting skills across various formats: announcements, threads, explainers, reactions, and long-form summaries.
• A profound passion for web3/crypto and active participation in on-chain communities.
• Capability to evaluate a brand’s social health through audits, competitor mapping, and data analysis.
• Clear understanding of how narratives circulate on platforms like X, LinkedIn, Farcaster, and within on-chain communities.
• Experience in planning and executing multi-week social pipelines linked to product, PR, or marketing roadmaps.
• Familiarity with internet culture and the ability to engage with it authentically, avoiding reliance on gimmicks.
• Proficiency in basic multimedia creation, including graphics, templates, short-form video, or AI tools.
• Ability to simplify complex technical subjects into straightforward, platform-native content.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple clients, maintaining a consistent schedule, and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions with PR, Content, Creative, Growth, and internal client teams.
