Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and construct website layouts and user interfaces utilizing standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices.

• Collaborate with designers to translate designs into website components.

• Implement responsive web design across various devices including desktops, mobiles, and tablets, as well as across different web browsers.

• Partner with the content team to apply Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and analyze all web-related analytics.

• Enhance landing pages for digital marketing initiatives.

• Create and develop responsive email templates compatible with various email clients and devices.

• Generate and maintain documentation.

• Diagnose, test, and sustain websites to guarantee optimal security and functionality.

• Proactively test and resolve issues as they arise.

• Support the marketing team in a range of integrated communication and marketing efforts.

• Regularly meet or surpass monthly targets set by the supervisor.

• Retain training and guidance from management.

• Comply with company policies and uphold organizational values.

• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and professionally represent EBQ to clients.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• A highly driven and disciplined self-starter with exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Extensive knowledge of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with responsive design and browser testing tools.

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities and a problem-solving attitude.

• A commitment to ongoing learning.

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, HubSpot, Drupal, and/or Webflow is preferred but not mandatory.

• Competence in managing and administering websites through hosting providers like WPEngine, GoDaddy, Bluehost, or DreamHost.

• Knowledge of PHP and WordPress webhooks.

• Experience with relational databases (SQL/MySQL).

• Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms like HubSpot, Pardot, or Mailchimp.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce or Shopify.

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

• Experience with project management software.

• Knowledge of CDN integrations (Cloudflare).

• Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub).

• Skills in website optimization related to speed, accessibility, security, etc.
