Web Developer, Subscription Commerce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and launch the website roadside.stayupright.com.au along with the customer registration process.

• Create a responsive, mobile-first subscription and checkout interface.

• Integrate Chargebee (or a similar service), payment gateways (such as Stripe/PayPal), and automate customer email communications.

• Set up subscription plans, GST/tax configurations, customer records, and analytics tracking.

• Connect customer data with backend systems using REST APIs, webhooks, or CSV exports.

• Establish essential customer subscription management and administrative support workflows.

• Conduct testing, debugging, provide go-live assistance, and prepare handover documentation.

• Design and build a future Shopify online store, which includes theme customization, product setup, and payment/shipping configurations.

• Offer regular progress updates and collaborate with the National Marketing Manager.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experienced in developing responsive, mobile-first websites.

• Familiar with subscription billing platforms (preferably Chargebee) and integrating payment gateways.

• Knowledgeable about REST APIs, webhooks, and data transfer processes.

• Experienced in creating signup, checkout, or customer account management systems.

• Understanding of Australian GST/tax regulations related to online payments.

• Capable of working independently and communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
