Water and Wastewater Project Engineer – Industrial Environmental

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Olsson's Industrial Environmental team as a Water and Wastewater Project Engineer, contributing to innovative solutions that foster positive change within communities.

• Utilize a broad range of engineering principles and practices across various assignments and related fields.

• Oversee, coordinate, and evaluate the work of engineers or technicians, while undertaking complex or unique tasks that necessitate the development of new and improved methods and procedures.

• Create planning and design documentation pertinent to the relevant engineering discipline.

• Coordinate the efforts of assistant and associate professional staff as well as technical staff; may also oversee lower-level personnel.

• Conduct process design calculations, generate cost estimates, and perform economic analyses for alternative comparisons.

• Define project scope, develop project schedules, manage budget reviews, and provide progress reports on schedules.

• Collaborate with other Olsson teams on projects and execute design tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Over 8 years of pertinent experience in environmental or civil engineering, particularly in water/wastewater treatment, lift stations, pump stations, or other forms of environmental design; experience in the industrial market is preferred.

• Must hold a Professional Engineer registration.

• Expertise in engineering tools, software, and methodologies.

• Solid working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
