Warranty Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Prepare and manage intricate vehicle warranty claims as well as non-warranty Electronic Repair Orders within specified timeframes, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.

• Efficiently reconcile and correct any rejected claims in a timely manner, as necessary.

• Participate in occasional meetings, which may be either optional or mandatory.

• Manage and process queues from multiple locations to decrease the aging of EROs.

• Reach out to OEMs for required approvals and/or goodwill adjustments, as well as to address processing concerns.

• Secure approvals and adjustments in line with both the organization's and the manufacturer's policies and procedures.

• Generate various reports on claims processing productivity.

• Escalate unresolved issues or concerns to the Warranty Specialist or Manager.

• Maintain consistent communication with management, Warranty, and Maintenance Staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.

• At least 2 years of administrative experience is necessary.

• Previous experience in the automotive industry and/or dealership is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience related to warranty claims is required.

• Strong customer service skills are essential.

• Proven knowledge of the policies and procedures related to claims submissions and/or claims preparation of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) is necessary.

• Capability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

• Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Ability to communicate efficiently and interact with all levels within the organization.
