This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Demonstrated ability to contribute consistently and reliably (feed and feature) within tight deadlines.

• Proficient in pitching ideas effectively.

• Prepared to input work into our proprietary CMS, as well as locate and format images in line with our guidelines.

• Keep informed about the latest developments in open source software, including news, products, and updates.

• Collaborate with the editorial team for assignments and constructive feedback.

• Relevant experience in writing and editing in English.

• Strong analytical thinking skills; able to evaluate and critique elements of news sources.

• Extensive knowledge and familiarity with open source software, particularly Linux.
