This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive assistance to callers.
• Receive calls from individuals across the state and provide phone support as instructed during the training provided by CCS.
• Engage in continuous training and team-building activities.
• Maintain accurate data logs; enter and present data in a manner that professionally reflects warmline operations.
• Prepare reports as needed for the Warmline Shift Leader or designated Warmline Supervisor.
• Must identify as someone with lived experience of managing intense emotions.
• Must hold a certificate confirming completion of the Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS).
• Must register with the Oregon Health Authority Traditional Health Worker registry as a Peer Support Specialist within the first six months.
• Must demonstrate a sound understanding of the Warmline's purpose and limitations by completing training role-plays during training and in ongoing skill development.
• Must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Must comply with all policies and procedures.
• Must show and/or be willing to acquire a basic understanding of cross-cultural issues, dual diagnosis/addictions, and the impacts of PTSD/trauma.
• Must successfully complete all criminal history background checks as stipulated by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.
• Pre-hire drug screening is mandatory before employment.
