Warmline Operator, Part Time, Sunrise Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for handling calls from individuals throughout the state and offering phone support as outlined in the training provided by CCS.

• Participate in ongoing training and team-building activities, collaborating closely with fellow Shift Leaders in an environment that may necessitate adaptations and improvements.

• Maintain accurate data logs; enter and present data in a manner that effectively and professionally reflects warmline operations.

• Prepare reports as needed for the Warmline Shift Leader or designated Warmline Supervisor, depending on the availability of the Shift Leader.

• Deliver all information promptly and in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must identify as an individual with lived experience of managing intense emotions and be able to provide support to others during challenging times.

• Required to hold a certificate confirming the completion of the Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS).

• Must become registered with the Oregon Health Authority Traditional Health Worker registry as a Peer Support Specialist within the first six months of employment with the Warmline.

• Should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Warmline's purpose and limitations by completing training role-plays both during the initial training and in ongoing skill development.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.

• Expected to engage in ongoing training and meetings as assigned.

• Compliance with all policies and procedures is mandatory.

• Essential skills include respect, effective feedback, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Must demonstrate and/or be open to learning a foundational awareness of cross-cultural issues, dual diagnosis/addictions, and the impacts of PTSD/trauma.
