This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee the development and implementation of long-range financial models spanning 3–5 years, incorporating various scenarios, value drivers, and strategic initiatives.
• Set top-down financial objectives for annual planning cycles.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify priorities and create business cases, including NPV, payback, risk assessment, and ROI analysis.
• Drive pricing strategies and packaging analyses utilizing customer and market data.
• Lead financial due diligence, modeling, valuation, and integration planning for M&A and corporate development efforts.
• Ensure alignment of forecasts, business cases, pricing strategies, and financial assumptions with cross-functional leaders.
• Provide vision, strategy, and guidance for achieving financial excellence and fostering a data-driven culture.
• Build and manage a high-performing strategic finance team; recruit, develop, and mentor talent.
• Assist in board and investor communications, including presentations and earnings materials.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Operations, and Marketing on metrics, KPIs, and decision-making processes.
• Manage additional strategic projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive finance experience in enterprise SaaS companies, with significant FP&A and strategic finance responsibilities.
• Previous experience in leading and scaling teams is preferred.
• Proficiency in subscription and consumption-based business models, including ARR, MRR, renewal economics, customer unit economics, and SaaS metrics.
• Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel, Python, or equivalent).
• Experience in revenue forecasting, pipeline modeling, cohort analysis, and forecasting systems.
• Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS financial metrics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business objectives.
• Experience with pricing and packaging strategies in multi-product SaaS environments is preferred.
• Background in leading financial transformation initiatives or implementing planning and forecasting systems is preferred.
• M&A or corporate development finance experience within a SaaS organization is preferred.
• Strong data-driven mindset with outstanding analytical and financial acumen.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and empower teams.
• Previous experience collaborating with private equity firms is ideal.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional project leadership abilities.
• Experience presenting to boards and senior investors is preferred.
• Proficiency with financial planning tools (Workday, Anaplan, Tableau) is a plus.
