This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Lead strategic initiatives for social media and influencer programs across various prominent healthcare and consumer health accounts.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering senior-level guidance on social strategies, digital trends, content, and platform innovations within the dynamic health sector.
• Supervise the complete planning and execution of social campaigns, ensuring high-quality outcomes, compliance, and measurable results.
• Collaborate with creative, media, digital, and account teams to create integrated health communication programs.
• Facilitate client workshops, social training sessions, platform trend briefings, and sessions on social media best practices.
• Leverage data, analytics, and insights from social listening to inform strategy, reveal audience behaviors, and deliver impactful recommendations.
• Develop and mentor high-performing teams, offering strategic guidance and opportunities for professional growth.
• Propel new business development through pitches, strategic proposals, and identifying prospects within healthcare and consumer health clients.
• Guide teams and clients through rapidly evolving issues management and reputation-sensitive challenges in regulated or consumer-facing contexts.
• Over 10 years of experience in social media, digital communications, or influencer marketing within the healthcare, wellness, pharmaceutical, or consumer health industries.
• Extensive knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and emerging channels.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare communications, patient and consumer audiences, social trends, creator partnerships, and culturally relevant storytelling.
• Proven experience in leading complex client relationships and managing integrated social programs across multiple accounts.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance environments and approval processes is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and developing teams.
• Comfort in presenting to senior stakeholders and leading workshops, training sessions, and pitches.
• Proficient in using social listening and analytics tools such as Brandwatch, NetBase, Julius, or similar platforms.
