VP, Security & Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Dynata's enterprise security strategy by defining the roadmap, prioritizing investments, and aligning security measures with business goals across cloud, corporate applications, and data platforms.

• Develop and uphold a Zero Trust security architecture that encompasses AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Supervise threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response initiatives.

• Direct Dynata's Security Operations Center (SOC) — ensuring round-the-clock monitoring coverage, managing alert triage, establishing escalation protocols, and continuously enhancing detection and response capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology/Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a similar discipline.

• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing security and/or compliance teams of six or more.

• Demonstrated success in building or advancing security programs at a Fortune 500 company, private equity-backed firm, or a highly regulated organization.

• Practical experience in AI/ML security.

• Extensive expertise in cloud security across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Strong ownership of compliance programs including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
